  I'll pass on LoL (can't fucking stand the graphics) but I'll be buying Dota 2 for sure.

• See I think masteries and runes are stupid, they have an impact in games that have nothing to do with playing ability or skill.
  
  And the gameplay is a little bit simpler. No denies, no courier, more ability spamming, etc.....Also the summoner spells same thing...it makes it less about playing skill and more about what you happened to bring with you versus what they happened to have....idk I still have fun playing it, but I definitely look forward more to Dota 2.

• DoTA 2 comes out in 3 days!!! August 17th. Just checked. There is a big tournament here in Germany where the top DoTA 1 teams are competing. 1st place prize is 1 million $$.....

  Not sure if the game comes out officially or not. The first public viewing is the 17th at the tournament. May be awhile longer before it's for sale and released.

• Dota 2 doesn't actually come out August 17th, that is just when the tournament begins.

• Yea I'm still figuring out cost and plans to see about going to GamesCon. It's 4 hours away and will cost me a ton of money for travel and hotel since everything is last minute, but I'd get to play Guildwars2 PvP demo and check out DoTA2 in person....probably worth it :)

• It's just like DoTA1/HoN/LoL...just newer...so majority of players will flock there.
